Can you get lds scriptures on kindle

Does it give you a certain message when you try to add the app to a profile? What settings do you have enabled on the profile? Post by MPali » Fri Nov 08, pm On my kids' profiles, there is no message, the app just isn't available to choose when picking the apps for their profiles.

It was there, as an option, before this last update. I can still access it in the app store or in the adult profile, so it is still associated with my account. I'm not sure what changed in this last update that made it disappear, but I hope you can fix It! Thanks for looking into it. My "Learn Time" is not even turned on. There must be something else going on. The bummer is that the Gospel Library app worked so well in the "child profile" for the last year until the glitch with the gospel library app two weeks ago and Amazon pulled it off.

When the Church put the app back on the Amazon app store, it no longer will show up in a child profile. There's no error code. In fact, the Kindle thinks it is loaded into the profile. The app justjust won't show up. I keep thinking there must have been something that changed in the gospel library app or on Amazon during "the crash" to make it no longer compatible with child profiles.

Post by mkmurray » Sat Jan 23, pm Yes, and that is what I figured with any existing scripture implementations out there. If this project idea was accepted and sponsored by the Church perhaps on the LDSTech Wiki , then the Church would provide you with an official scripture content set that is organized in an XML schema they developed.

I have personally written XSL templates to transform this content into a different format for one of the mobile scriptures projects on the Wiki. Post by TechnoBabel-p40 » Sat Jan 23, pm I thought the Kindle had a single user interface for reading content that was commonly used by everything.

I guess that shows what I know about it. Maybe I'm just not as picky as you guys. Finally, at the end of April, I have them! Thanks from Abu Dhabi. There's only iOS and Android options. That's it. Creating another reader, with separate content is not what we need. So just order from Amazon. If anyone can point me to the right direction, I will appreciate very much. Thank you in advance.
